Good site for a mini-roundabout but with a curve on the former main road and an uphill approach on the former side road from the east, the designer has sought to maximise visibility instead of reducing speeds. The layout would be better if the central island was at least 6m diameter and the yield lines set back. Overrunnable splitter islands would help too.
